Edit: I changed the colors of some of the books so they weren't so distracting. ^_^

Fear the cuteness that is Danny sleeping! Hmm, I think I’m getting better at coloring things on the computer. This is another scene from my RP that I sketched out the other day. I spent forever cleaning up the sketch and doing the line art, and than today I spent all day coloring it. But I think it was worth all that time, cause for once, I actually like how this picture came out. ^^

I didn’t use any refs for Danny’s pose, which was hard. ><; But I did use a ref for that poster behind him, and for the rug on the floor. They’re not in the right places of his room of course, I just added them in there so it’d be easier to tell that he was in his bedroom. ^^ As for the ‘hammock’ thing, it’s a ghost net, as you can probably tell.

Why is he sleeping in a hammock made from a ghost net? That’s kind of hard to explain. @_@; Basically, his powers aren’t really working for him at the moment, and he keeps phasing through everything and anything he touches. So the only way he could get some rest was to borrow one of his parents’ inventions and use the ghost net to make a hammock. And since it’s ghost proof, he can’t phase through it.

All those books on the bookshelf had titles, but when I resized the picture all the words sort of blurred together, so you can’t see them. Other than that, the only thing that really bugs me with this picture at the moment, is the ghost net. Not the whole thing though, only the bottom part of it. The outlining looks blocky, and sort of circular where his boot is… Oh well…it’s the first time I’ve drawn a ghost net, so I can get away with it.
