Ahahahah…:giggle: Took me two days, but I DID IT! :faint: I made a Danneh animation! :excited: Course I basically just drew a scene from the show instead of coming up with something on my own…but…I have to start somewhere. XDD I mean I had no idea how to do movement or anything, so while doing this I was studying how different parts of the character move with each scene. o.o Veeery good practice. XDD Once I get the hang of it I might do something of my own. o.o

Anyway, this is from a part in Flirting With Disaster. =D Every single frame hand drawn…:faint: There’s 29 frames in all, not counting ones I doubled.

Holy muffins; I now have a new appreciation for traditional animators. @__@ DUDE it takes FOREVER. XDD And I don’t even have one of those light board things animators use, so it was a bit harder to keep Danny about the same size while drawing this. >.o But the hard part was not only the drawing part of it, but getting it all together into an animation on the computer once it’s drawn up; and trying to keep it smooth all the way through. o.o At least it was hard for me, cuz I’ve never done it before. :XD:

But for my second try (my first was made the other day and was a really simple one of Danny turning his head) I think I did pretty good. =D It’s a bit jerky in some parts; it was REALLY hard to get it as smooth as I did, it took up a good chunk of my afternoon. -.- Plus I wanted to add that voice clip in there from the eppie, to see if I was able to make characters talk right with all the mouth movements and everything. =D

Also, this clip HAD sound…but DA doesn’t allow using sound clips from shows or anything like that as far as I know, so I took it off just to be safe. ^^; Darn though Danny was supposed to be talking. T__T Eh, if you wanna see the talking version just go here: [link]

Danny Fact of the Month: On TUE, when Danny is batttling his older self, and his ghost powers don't work, and he is about to trap his older self in the thermos, and it does the close up to Danny's eyes, they are green. Wierd blooper, huh?

After staring at this for a good ten minutes, the only problem I see is with the frame rate, in other words, frames per second... It's not consistent. The best I can recall for that scene was that it was all done on 1's. The motion wasn't meant to be very fluid, but it still doesn't jerk around in the pacing. Also, the eyes tend to fall a little bit out of whack every now and then, especially in the really intense expressions. Aside from all that, though, your lipsync is very clean and accurate.

I'll bug my portfolio prof and char anim prof from last quarter to see what kind of critique they'd have for it.
